CT Colonography and CAD: Promoting Excellence and Ensuring Minimum Standards
In June 2009 Medicsight were proud to host a keynote symposium at the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (ESGAR) highlighting the need for quality of service and consistent standards of performance in CT-colonography (CTC).
A faculty of world-renowned experts in the field of CTC debated the issues surrounding the need for and development of standards in different healthcare environments. A particular focus was on interpretation skills required and the potential benefits of Computer Aided Detection (CAD) systems for training and use in routine clinical practice.
